Jean Palutikof
Jean Palutikof is founding Director of the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF) at Griffith University, Australia. She has held this position since 2008. Prior to this, Professor Palutikof was based at the UK Met Office during which time she managed the production of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report for Working Group II (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability).〔http://www.nccarf.edu.au/content/professor-jean-palutikof-0〕
Professor Palutikof is among the foremost scholars of climate change adaptation and was lead author and review editor for several assessments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and was present in Oslo at the ceremony at which the IPCC received the Nobel Peace Prize.

Between 1974 and 1979 Professor Palutikof worked as a lecturer at the Department of Geography.
